On this day:

Texas Railroad

We went to Palestine yesterday (that's in Texas, not the Middle East!!), to ride the rails. Here is good information concerning it...it's a good daytrip for the family on a budget!!

If you go, be sure to get the train with the steam engine:

After the train, we went to nearby Rusk and went to what is said to be the "longest footbridge" in the nation:
